Calderon, a 2008 graduate of St. Francis High School, led the Troubadour soccer team to three section championships during her career, including a 19-1-3 record and No. 4 national ranking as a senior, and four Metro League championships.

She continued her career at the collegiate level, scoring 29 goals at LIU-Brooklyn over the course of her tenure, tying the school record for goals, while finishing her career as LIU’s all-time leader with 69 points. She was the first player in LIU-Brooklyn school history to earn both NSCAA Scholar All-America honors (third team) and NSCAA First-Team all-region honors

Northeast Conference Player of the Year

     NEC Rookie and Player of the Year in 2008 after leading LIU with 10 goals. She was also named to the NSCAA/adidas All-Northeast Region Second Team, to the Soccer BuzzFreshman All-America Fourth Team, All-Northeast Region Second Team and Northeast Region All-Freshman Team.

In addition to her program-best point total, Calderon ranks first on the single-season list for points (26), second on the single-season list for goals in a season (10, twice) and tied with LIU Hall of Famer Larissa Schwartzlander in career goals with 29. The Sacramento, Calif. native most recently completed a professional season with Úrvalsdeild in Iceland and also spent time during her pro career in Finland.
